Post-Treatment Program

Pine Lodge's Post Treatment is a second-stage recovery program that operates from a client-centered and trauma-informed model of care.  This program is three or more pronged approach focusing on on-going counselling support through half-day group sessions. Access to one-to-one sessions with our Post House Counsellors. Supportive Short-Term Housing Program.  As well as our Vocational Support Program that is currently under development. 

Participants in this program are encouraged to:

     1) Participate in programming

     2) Engage in a recovery community of their choosing. 

     3) Participate in 1-1 counselling sessions 

     4) Seek education or employment opportunities. 

     5) Be working towards returning to housing in the community of their choosing.  

     6) Maintain sobriety throughout their stay.

This is our group and individual counselling program.  Focusing on the internal and external resouces individuals possess or would like to develop in order to both initiate and sustain recovery from addiction or substance use. It encompasses various elements, including personal strengths, family support, social networks, and community resources, which can either support or hinder the recovery process.  

Our housing program has experienced a good amount of growth this last year going from 11 beds to 25.  We consider this short-term individually based housing offered to those who have recently completed an inpatient program. Supporting sobriety with affordable housing and recovery support workers to aid in second stage transitioning throughout our clients stay.

The Vocational Program is under development and we look forward to offering our participants the next steps in recovery through employment.

Most referrals come through our Main Center after successful completion however, we do have outpatient treatment available for our group and one-to-one sessions.

Criteria for admissions are:

     1) Recent completion of an addiction recovery program 

     2) A need for transitional services 

     3) Age 18+
